I watched Barry Big Ears tonight on Sixty Minutes and I have to once more find myself amazed at the bold faced lying and revisionist history that this bozo can push. while Obama talks about partisan politics stopping at the water’s edge he ignores his own history.
Obama feels Donald Trump should just go quietly into the night and that’s simply not happening nor should it.
When a President is assaulted on all sides the simple fact that he fights back is abhorrent to the passive aggressive crowd on the Left.
Let’s look at Obama’s actions in 2016...
We know for a fact that the Obama Administration was spying on the Trump campaign and using Russian propaganda bought and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign. Better still apparently Obama et al knew that the Russians were interfering in the Election but somehow seem blameless? Better still is that they were so worried about Russians infiltrating a campaign that they didn’t even warn the campaign.
Obama wants to paint his years in the White House as a success but in fact they were a dismal failure...
This is another draft and it’s where I stopped. I have huge buyer’s remorse regarding the Obama Administration and now that we are just past Inauguration Day for the Biden Administration I’m not looking for fun.
I’m writing this a few weeks before but what I’m loving at the moment is that way Biden is trying to walk back from a lot of the more radical positions that have been embraced by Democrats. Student Loan forgiveness looks to be off the table or at least on the back burner. Immigration reform too is getting pushed back as the incoming administration realizes that they might be opening floodgates to a problem the nation is ill-equipped to deal with.
It’s kind of fun to watch really.
Trump was an asshole, I mean no one has to sell me on that but there were a lot of things he did that were good for the nation in the long run whether people want to believe it or not.
The thing is... by the time this post hits we should be well into vaccination. That doesn’t mean the pandemic will be lessening, only that more people in a vulnerable population will be getting resistance to the virus,
It’s not the big problem though... the big problem is, JOBS! JOBS AND TAXES! You see, one of the things that have been happening over the last year, we have had continued lockdowns and because of those lockdowns continued business closures.
Jobs that aren’t coming back, money that is OUT OF THE ECONOMY! Unemployment has gone down but we are still going to be at least a few months out on the pandemic thing not looking at real sunight until August or September and even then we will be dealing with virus mutation meaning Covid may be with us for a lot longer than people think.
Things are not going to go back to normal like someone flipping a light switch and better still the government has been spending like it’s got no limit. These are things that are not good because there will be a point when the money spigot from the government will turn off and then? That will be when the real pain begins.
Governments have NOT been belt tightening and that’s part of the problem.
Most of the burden during tough economic times has been solely on the private sector, this is what happened during Obama’s years in office, the government NEVER cut back! Even local governments kep digging into the pocket of the taxpayer even though those very same taxpayers were unemployed or had less money to go around.
That’s what is coming and it won’t be pretty.
I’m writing this just after Christmas 2020 and as bad as this Christmas Season has been (because of a pandemic) wait and see if Christmas 2021 isn’t worse because of a bad economy and really I do hope I’m wrong about it but my sense is that won’t be the case.
